PROFESSORS
BRENNO AMBROSINI
Liszt and
Venice feature constantly in the work of this Italian pianist who was born in
1967 and who started studying the piano aged six, made his first public
appearance aged eleven in Venice, the City of the Water, and was trained in the
school of Liszt – the composer and performer of genius who wrote many of his
works in Venice barely 100 meters from the very place of Ambrosini’s birth.
Ambrosini studied piano, organ, violin and composition with M.I. Biagi (school
of Liszt), R. Cappello and U. Amendola. After graduating in Italy with maximum
scores and cum laude he continued his studies with G. Oppitz in Munich (school
of Liszt), M. de Silva-Telles in Paris and J. Soriano in Madrid where he
graduated with honours. He is currently working on his doctorate in Ethics and
Politics in Universitat Jaume I in Castellón, Spain. Many times acclaimed for
his interpretation and performances as full of colour and with moments of great
transcendental depth, critics have said: His Liszt sonata has been a sacred
performance – a monumental interpretation (El País, Madrid – Spain) His
symphonic piano style shone at every performance. (Westfälische Rundschau,
Dortmund – Germany) The right choice, a pianist who is always elegant and
refined. (Pianotime, Milan – Italy) Winner at the XXXIV Concurso Internacional
de Piano “Premio Jaén” and the “Rosa Sabater Prize” for the best performance of
Spanish music in the same election. Ambrosini won the First Prize, the Debussy
Prize and the Beethoven Prize in the International Piano Competition “Cidade do
Porto”. He was lauded in the X Concurso Internacional de Piano de Santander “Paloma
O’Shea”. He won Second Prize in the International Piano Competition “José
Iturbi” of Valencia. He was awarded Second Prize and the “Golden Harp” in the International
Concourse “Jeunesses Musicales” of Belgrade and won the “Piano Festival Alumni
Prize” in the “William Kapell” International Piano Competition at College Park
(Washington D.C., USA). After his orchestral debut at the Liederhalle
(Beethovensaal) of Stuttgart in 1986, Ambrosini has performed many concerts as
soloist in cities in Europe, the USA and Japan accompanied by ensembles such as
the Royal Orchestra of Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Belgrade, the Scottish Chamber
Orchestra, the New Philharmonia of Japan and the Hermitage State Orchestra of
St. Petersburg, performing with conductors such as M. Bamert, H. Vonk and A.
Ros-Marbá. Since 1990 Ambrosini has performed in duets with the Russian
violinist M. Lubotsky and since 2000 with the Russian violinist I. Grubert. He
also collaborates regularly with the Prazak and Brodsky string quartets.
Ambrosini has recorded CDs for Symphonia, Almaviva, ETG, Several and Dynamic
record labels and has recorded for top European radio and television channels
and for NHK of Japan. Special mention should be made of his collaboration with
the Radio Clásica of Radio Nacional de España which has resulted in more than
350 recordings. Composers such as H. Vartan, V. Suslin, R. Flender, F. Llácer-Pla,
T. Catalán, C. Cruz de Castro, Z. de la Cruz, T. Marco, J. Jacinto, J. Medina,
J. M. Sánchez-Verdú, C. Maresca, A. Meoli and G. F. Prato have dedicated works
to Ambrosini. He was first to perform works by composers such as A. Pärt, N.
Roslawietz, S. Gubaidulina, S. Slonimsky, A. Bax, B. Britten and F. Delius in
Spain. Special attention is due to his study of the works of Russian composer
Alfred Schnittke: he has performed Schnittke’s works in Europe, Russia and
Japan and has offered Schnittke Master Classes at London University and the
Russische Musik Akademie de Dortmund. Ambrosini is honorary member of the
Deutsche Alfred Schnittke Gesellschaft. Professor of various piano skill
development courses in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom
(Goldsmith’s College, University of London) and Poland, Ambrosini is tenured
professor at the Conservatorio Superior of Castellón. He´s Consultant (Master
Professor of Piano) at the VIU – Valencia International University, Professor
at the Alfred Schnittke Akademie International of Hamburg and serves as a Jury
Member at important international piano competitions and as a Board member of
the Franz Liszt Foundation (France). In 2011, the year of Liszt, Ambrosini
offered a series of recitals and performed with orchestras in Germany, France ,
Holland, Italy, Poland and Spain. In 2012 he won the position as piano
professor (bachelor and master) at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
BERNADETTA RAATZ
Polish
pianist born in Koszalin. Bernadetta Raatz started studying piano aged six at
"Grażyna Bacewicz" Music Conservatory, where she graduated with
maximum scores. In 2006 Bernadetta Raatz graduated in Gdansk (Poland) at
"Stanislaw Moniuszko" High Conservatory with maximum scores as student
of professor Katarzyna Popowa - Zydron and professor Bogdan Kulakowski. At the
same time she continued her studies with professor Brenno Ambrosini (school of
Liszt) in Valencia and Castellón (Spain). She also worked with professors such
as Jean Paul Sevilla, Naum Grubert and Joaquín Soriano. First Prize winner by
unanimous vote of the jury at the "Antón García Abril" International
Piano Competition in Teruel (Spain) in 2008. Bernadetta won Second Prizes at
International Competitions "Ciutat de Manresa" (Spain, 2007) and
"Ciutat de Carlet" (Spain, 2003), where she also got a Prize for the
best performance of Spanish Music. In 2002 she was awarded Second Prize in the
"Musical de France" International Piano Competition in Paris. Prize
winner at International Chamber Music Competition in Przemysl (Poland) in 2000.
Bernadetta has performed many solo recitals in Spain, Poland, France and
Germany. She has performed concerts as soloist with Koszalin Philharmonic
Orchestra, Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of the
University of Valencia. Since 2003 Raatz has performed in duets with Russian
soprano Ludmila Shikhova, Italian pianist Brenno Ambrosini, Spanish cellist José
Enrique Bouché and Polish violinist Agata Maria Raatz. She also collaborates
regularly with Dubhe quartet. Professor of various piano skill development
courses in Spain: Valencia University, Ávila Piano Seminar (from 2003 till
2006), "Bell'Arte Piano" in Sigüenza (from 2007), Raatz is tenured
professor at the High Conservatory of Salamanca as well as President of
Bell'Arte Europa International Cultural Society.
ALEKSANDER OSTROVSKI
Absolvent
des Moskauer Tschaikowsky-Konservatoriums (Prof. Maya Glesarova und Igor
Bezrodny). 1987-90 Violinsolist, Mitglied im Moskauer „Mozart-Quartett“,
Dirigent des Moskauer Orchesters „Theater der Kammermusik“. Seit 1990
internationale Konzerttätigkeit als Violinsolist, Dirigent und Kammermusiker, tätig
in Europa sowie im Nahen und Fernen Osten. 1995 – 98 Ehrendirigent und -solist
des Kammerorchesters in Chon–Ju (Südkorea). 1. Gastdirigent und Solist des
Ukrainischen Staatlichen Kammerorchesters „Kamerata Kiew“. Seit 1995 Künstlerischer
Leiter der Russischen Musikakademie Dortmund. Künstlerischer Leiter des
internationalen Musikfestivals „ Musiktage / Meisterkurse in Dortmund“. Lehrer
und Förderer mehrerer herausragender junger Violinisten, Preisträger von
internationalen Musikwettbewerben. Seit 2002 Leiter des internationalen
Jugend-Kammerorchesters YES (Young European Soloists), Konzerte als Dirigent
und Violinsolist in Deutschland und Europa mit YES. Seit 2011 Gründer und
Leiter des Internationalen Konservatoriums am Phoenixsee gGmbH.
KAROLINA MICHALSKA
Born in
Poznan (Poland), where between 1999 and 2004 she accomplished her violin
studies at Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in the class of Marcin
Baranowski, where she specialized also in violin pedagogy. She completed her
studies in Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid at the cathedra of
Rainer Schmidt. She has taken part in masterclasses with Silvia Marcovici,
Zakhar Bron, Pavel Vernikow, Mauricio Fuks, José Luis García Ascensio, Keiko
Wataya and in chamber music with sir Walter Levin and Peter Frankl. Beeing part
of duos with piano and violin, she has given recitals all around Spain. In 2005
she has taken part in Santander Summer Festival performing as a soloist and in
chamber music. From 2010 she has been invited to the Internacional Music Course
in Pontedeume.
JOSÉ ENRIQUE BOUCHÉ
Born in
Castellón (Spain) in 1.967, where he started his cello lessons with D. Ramia
and
J.A.Ros.
Later he attended “Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid” with R.
Ramos, pupil of Tortelier and Flachot, (where he was awarded “First Prize” in
1990), Centre Internacional d´Ensenyaments Musicals de Barcelona with M.
Cervera (who studied with Cassadó, Tortelier and Casals), Conservatorio
Superior de Salamanca and Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia
(Faculty of Education), supported by Fundación del Banco Exterior de España and
Conselleria de Cultura, Educaciò i Ciéncia de la Generalitat Valenciana.
He has
given concerts in Spain, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Portugal, Romania,
Switzerland, Greece, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, El Salvador, Brasil, Norway,
Japan and U.S.A. and often participates at festivals like Festival
Internacional de Santander, Festival Internacional de Pollença, Spain in Tokio
(Japan), Festival Internacional “Chopin” de Valldemossa, Festival de Música
Contemporánea de Alicante, Ciclos de Música de Cámara de Cajamadrid, Ciclos de
Música de Cámara de Ibercaja, Fundación Botín, Festival de Música de Cámara de
Segovia, Fundación March, Children4Music (London), Puentes Project-New York
(E.E.U.U.), Sighisoara Academy Festival (Romania), Festival Grieg in Bergen
(Norway), etc., performing in halls such as: Auditorio Nacional, Teatro Real

Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias de la Música, 2002) and Warner Music (4
nominees 16th Latin Grammy Awards, 2015), performs regularly with the pianists
Brenno Ambrosini an Juan Carlos Cornelles and has collaborated with prestigious
musicians and ensembles: Michael Thomas, Ilya Grubert, Vasko Vassilev,
Alexandru Gavrilovici, Nobuko Imai, Imre Rohmann, Michiko Tsuda, Jean-Philippe
Vasseur, Joan Enric Lluna, Massimo Paris, Virtuosos del Covent Garden, Ensemble
Laureate and Cuarteto "Leonor", among others.
He has
played as a soloist with the Orchestra of Engelberg, Orquesta de Cámara “Reina
Sofía” de Madrid, Orquesta Sinfónica del Mediterráneo, Orquesta de les Arts,
Camerata de Madrid, Castelló XXI, Nomos Group, Orquesta Sinfónica de Castellón,
Paris Trio, etc. and has been conducted by V. Cacciatori, C. Halffter, M.
Thomas, J. Vicent, H. Adams, E. García Asensio, S. Brotons, etc.
Member of
the “Dubhe Quartet” and currently of the “Arkhé Piano Trio”. Principal cello at

Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), Conservatorio Superior de las Islas Baleares and
Valencian International University-VIU. Currently he is cello teacher at
ISEACV-Conservatorio Superior “Salvador Seguí” de Castellón-Spain (where is
also in charge of International Office and coordinates Erasmus + Programme) and
is Co-director and String Pedagogy Teacher of the “Master in Music Performance
and Research-Valencian International University-VIU”, awarded in the 5th
edition of the Teaching With Sakai Innovation Award-TWSIA (U.S.A. 2012) by
promoting excellent pedagogy and innovation in teaching and learning programmes
through Sakai, Elluminate and Blackboard Collaborate technological platforms.
From 2013
is cello and Pedagogy teacher in El Salvador, taking part in the project
“Addressing Youth Violence through Cultural and Music Learning” supported by
The World Bank, Edytra Foundation, Don Bosco University, Ministerio de
Educación de El Salvador and Embassy of Japan.
Currently
is Artistic Director of the cello meeting “Cellosmagics”.
Bouché
plays a Gaetano Gadda cello (Mantova, 1934).
ELENA HAJFIZ
Elena
Hajfiz ist in der Ukraine geboren. Mit 20 Jahren absolviert sie das Studium
Chorleitung, Klavier und Gesang mit Auszeichnung an der Kirowograder
Lehranstalt für Musik.
1997 kommt
Elena Hajfiz in die Bundesrepublik Deutschland. In 2007 absolvierte Elena
Hajfiz ihr Gesangstudium an der Hochschule für Musik der Westfälischen
Wilhelms-Universität in Münster bei Professorin Annette Koch mit Bravur.
In Mai 2007
wird sie mit dem Walter und Willi Kollo-Operettenpreis für hervorragende künstlerische
Leistungen von Marguerite Kollo ausgezeichnet. Kammersängerin Brigitte
Eisenfeld, Mitglied der Staatsoper Berlin, begleitet sie seitdem als Mentorin.
Elena
Hajfiz debütiert 2008 an den Städtischen Bühnen Münster als Javotte in „Manon“
von Massenet. Bei den IX. Elblandfestspielen Wittenberge 2008 steht sie mit
Anna Maria Kaufmann und Jochen Kowalski auf der Bühne und brilliert als Adele
aus der „Fledermaus“, begleitet vom Deutschen Filmorchester Babelsberg . Das
Konzert wurde von RBB Berlin live übertragen.
